Words of Comfort: Charming Note Card with Vintage Birds
These charming vintage style cards feature a drawing of three little birds perched on the bare branch of a winter tree from an antique sketchbook. The drawing of the three little birds come from the sketchbook of a girl named Emma Robert-Charrue dated 1892. The original sketchbook – found in Switzerland – is either Swiss or French and includes illustrations of birds and flowers and is in our personal collection.In the background are words from a text on flowers by Clara Balfour taken from the pages of a handwritten 19th Century New England temperance journal. Makes a great thank you or get well note card.
